Welcome back Prime Minister!

We at the South Ayrshire Conservatives are delighted to hear about the Prime Minister's discharge from St Thomas' Hospital today. Thank you so much to everyone working in the NHS for all of the care you have provided to patients up and down the UK.

Update from our group leader

Transcript from Martin Dowey, group leader of the South Ayrshire Conservative and Unionists:

Hello again. We are now into week 3 of our lockdown.

Update on Boris Johnson's condition

Unfortunately, the Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been moved into intensive care after his symptoms of Coronavirus worsened.

Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family, as well as the thousands of others in intensive care from Coronavirus.

Boris Johnson's hospitalisation

The Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, was admitted to hospital yesterday evening for routine tests with "persistent symptoms" of Coronavirus including a high temperature. The Prime Minister tested positive for Coronavirus 10 days ago.

Nicola Sturgeon and Catherine Calderwood have put lives at risk

We’ve all seen the advert of Scotland’s Chief Medical Officer advising the public to “only go out when absolutely necessary for food, medicine, work or exercise. Always stay two metres apart, and do not meet others outside your own household – even friends and family.”

AGM Cancellation

We regret to announce that we are postponing our Annual General Meeting (AGM) due to the ongoing coronavirus epidemic. This meeting was scheduled to take place on Saturday 21 March 2020.

UK General Election - Ayr, Carrick and Cumnock
