Scottish International Airshow 2018

The association held its annual bottle stall at the Scottish International Airshow. Over the weekend, we were joined by local Conservative councillors, Bill Grant MP, Brian Whittle MSP and John Scott MSP.

A big thank you to all the volunteers and all those who visited the stall.

Cumnock Highland Games

Last week, the South Ayrshire Conservative and Unionist Association visited our neighbours in East Ayrshire and ran a successful bottle stall at the Cumnock Highland Games.

We want to thank the people of Cumnock and all visitors for the warm welcome.

Conservatives at The Prestwick Prom

The South Ayrshire Conservatives had another successful year at the Prestwick Prom. Our bottle stall was so busy, we managed to give away all the prizes a couple of hours before the close of the event.

Local Conservatives Deliver Successful Letter Campaign

Yesterday, we had a large team of local activists delivering letters in Cumnock, New Cumnock, Ochiltree and Coylton, which included a number of new faces to our ever growing campaign team. It was one of the most successful delivery events we've had in recent years. 

South Ayrshire Hosts Successful Bridge Event

On Wednesday, the South Ayrshire Conservative and Unionist Association held our 3rd annual Bridge Drive. This year's event was a massive success, with a record number of tables booked.

South Ayrshire Conservatives 2018 AGM

Today, the South Ayrshire Conservative and Unionist Association held its annual AGM in Ayr. The meeting was well attended, with many active party members in attendance. They heard great speeches from John Scott MSP, Bill Grant MP and Cllr Martin Dowey.

Cameron Pledges to "Finish the Fight for Real Equality" in Manchester Conference Speech

The Prime Minister David Cameron vowed to tackle inequality as part of his hour long speech to the Conservative Party Conference in Manchester on Wednesday 7th October.David Cameron used his address to make a passionate call to end any inequalities that society presents to people based on their gender, sexual orientation, skin colour, faith or disability. He said that "we can talk all we want about opportunity, but it's meaningless unless people are really judged equally". Other major topics included pledges to tackle extremism, a commiment on furthering home ownership and a rallying call in favour of the Union.
