Councillor Ian Davis

Ian Davis was elected to serve the ward of Ayr North in the 2017 Council Elections. At the age of 22, Ian was the youngest councillor to ever be elected in South Ayrshire. Ian has always been proud of his family roots across the North of Ayr, having links to Whitletts, Wallacetown, Newton and Heathfield. When growing up he attended Heathfield Primary School, then Prestwick Academy. In the council, he has used his experience as a carer to raise the issues that carers and young carers experience.

Beyond council work, Ian spends time taking care of his disabled mother, gaming and costume design.
